Rename Multiple files @ once

When you transfer photos from your digital camera, they usually have unidentifiable names. you'll rename many similar files quickly with the subsequent procedure. This also works for renaming alternative sorts of files.

1.Open the My pictures folder. (Click start, then click My pictures.) Or open another folder containing files that you just need to rename.

2.Select the files you would like to rename. If the files you would like aren't adjacent within the file list, press and hold CTRL, then click every item to select it.

3.On the File menu, click Rename.

4.Type the new name you want, then press ENTER.

All of the files within the series are going to be named in sequence using the new name you type. e.g, if you type Picnic, the first will be named Picnic and sequent files within the series are going to be named Picnic (1), Picnic (2), and so on. To specify the beginning range for the series, type the beginning range in parentheses after the new file name. The files within the series are going to be numbered in sequence beginning with the number you type. e.g, if you type Picnic (10), the other files are going to be named Picnic (11), Picnic (12), and so on.

So no need to rename single files one by one.. keep smart working :)
